Eric and I have committed to at least one date night each month to keep us connected and refreshed. Saturday night was it and it was one of the best we've had in a long time. It was nothing extraordinary, but a few things made it great:
Quiet...we'd missed date night for a few months and it was amazing to get to speak to each other without being interrupted. Or eat an entire meal without having to get up from the table!
Time...we left early and hired a sitter for as long as we needed. We didn't have to rush to get anywhere or get home.
Resolutions...we made our new year's resolutions early. He made mine and I made his and we exchanged them over dinner. This is an exercise I think will be a tradition.
Shopping...We had to go to Bass Pro to get a few things for E's upcoming backpacking trip. I haven't been shopping in ages because we've been trying to save money. It was fun to spend a little, even though it wasn't for me! All in all, it was a great night that served the purpose it was meant to serve.

yeah and the girls had fun with my baby...they are goin to be good parents like u guys are....thanks for lettin me and the girls have our movie nite again
