Our friend Ben has been on a bit of a "kick" here lately about wisdom. He will often say things like, "wisdom is screaming and they just won't listen!" (A reference to Proverbs 1:20 and subsequent verses).
Now, I am pretty good at observing "wisdom screaming" at other people. In fact, I'd go so far as to say I'm a pro. I get so frustrated with the idiotic behaviors of others. The repeated mistakes, self centered thinking and apathy of those all around me drives me insane. I am very quick to see the faults of others and take pride in myself.
But Ben got me thinking. Where is wisdom screaming at me and am I listening? What are the things that I do that are driving others crazy? In what areas of my life am I making stupid decisions, being self centered and/or apathetic. Several things I have read and heard lately have led me this place of introspection. I'm looking forward to journaling through this journey.
What about you? Where is wisdom screaming at you? Are you listening?
